The National Basketball Association (NBA) has evolved immensely from its inception in 1946, surviving several mergers and reforms, into the world's top basketball league. With teams across North America and fans spread across the world, the NBA has become more than just a basketball league; it is an American staple that bridges diverse communities and individuals. However, the path onwards is far from straightforward, as the NBA faces challenges ranging from maintaining fan engagement in the digital era to navigating complex new expansion markets. This committee will place delegates in the roles of the NBA's Executive Leadership, General Managers and Head Coaches of teams, and National Basketball Player Association representatives as they work together to turn the NBA's vision for the next decade into reality.

NBA is a Specialized Agency designed for delegates who are passionate about sports, business, and global issues that incorporates certain aspects of Crisis Rules of Procedures like Public Directives but also features a slower pace than traditional crises to facilitate profound discussion into business ventures. There will also be a stronger emphasis on high-quality, detailed public directives to direct the development of various NBA projects, products, and experiences.
