The Extempore Crisis Committee (ECC) is for those seeking a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Delegates will find themselves in an environment where alliances are fleeting and change is the only constant. Nothing is as it seems in this committee, and to succeed, delegates must rely on their core competency skills and question everything. The truth is not absolute.
As an advanced crisis committee, ECC is designed for the most experienced and competitive delegates. ECC follows Continuous Crisis Rules of Procedure, and due to its unique structure, delegates are not required to submit position papers and will all be automatically considered for awards.
A background guide outlining the topic and detailed individual delegate portfolios will be emailed to delegates prior to the Opening Ceremonies on the day of the conference. Delegation assignments will not be specified aside from numerical positions until the first day of the conference, so delegates must rely on their creativity and strategic thinking rather than pre-written research.
