"My fascination with brick walls is far from mere eccentricity; rather, it is a profound meditation on craftsmanship, history, and metaphysics. Each brick, meticulously laid, is a silent testament to human ingenuity, its arrangement a symphony of structural integrity and aesthetic harmony. The weathered façade, adorned with cracks and moss, tells a tale of time’s inexorable passage, a poignant juxtaposition of permanence and decay. Beyond mere observation, the act of staring at a brick wall is an exercise in contemplation—an escape from the cacophony of life into a realm of quiet introspection. In its unassuming grandeur, I find not only beauty but also the echoes of existence itself."
Dilly Dallying into his final year of high school, Alex is head over the moon to be serving as the USG of Logistics at the tenth iteration of RichMUN. Starting his MUN career as a ninth grader by literally being dragged into a conference, Alex instantly fell in love with the awesomesauce world of Model UN. From starting a Chae-won cult to binge watching Arcane season 2 in committee, Alex will forever cherish the unforgettable memories of Model UN (especially the horrendous unventilated sweaty smells of crisis committee rooms). Outside of paying money to be sleep deprived, Alex can be found slowly losing his sanity as a Ferrari fan, spreading the enlightenment of his glorious 6’9 King, and letting senioritis destroy every last bit of his academic life. Alex is super duper excited to see all the delegates in June!!!
