USG Delegate Affairs

Mary Lu

A Grade 11 student attending Rockridge Secondary, Mary is honored to serve as the USG Delegate Affairs at RichMUN 2025. Mary began her MUN journey in Grade 9 at the insistence of her upperclassmen, and discovered her interest in public speaking and diplomacy through her shaky first speech. Since then, she has created unforgettable memories and forged meaningful friendships—albeit at the expense of her sleep—through MUN. These include: witnessing a mid-crisis marriage, planning guest speaker scripts, and having a breakdown over losing her wallet. Outside of MUN, Mary is rereading her favorite 551-chapter webnovel, gaming, occasionally practicing violin, rewatching How to Train your Dragon: Homecoming (on days that are decidedly not Christmas), or agonizing over the Pre-Calculus 12 online course that she still hasn’t started at the time of writing this bio. Mary is beyond excited to see the fruits of the Secretariat team’s labor in June!
