Derek Sun

Currently a senior at Semiahmoo Secondary School, Derek is ecstatic to be serving as a Director for the Fictional Joint Crisis Committee at RICHMUN 2025. From joining MUN in late 2022 on a whim, to passionately debating about putting the good of the masses above the good of the individual in the second revolution of Panem, Derek has thoroughly enjoyed the enthralling debates of MUN. After being introduced to the idea of a Arcane committee by Kelly, Derek has spent many days repeatedly watching episodes of Arcane to pick out fine details, and making maps that will finally phase out the horrid B10 system.Outside of MUN, Derek enjoys playing Metroidvanias and Roguelikes, as well as the occasional not-so-friendly game of poker. Derek is looking forward to meeting everyone and hopes that all delegates will enjoy an unforgettable weekend at RICHMUN 2025!
